Does this replace our accountant?
No. It does the matching a practice charges by the hour to redo, so what lands on their desk is already clean. Your accountant still files the return and gives the advice.
What happens when something does not match?
It goes on an exceptions list with both records side by side and a plain note on what looks wrong. Forcing a match to make the numbers tidy is the one thing it is not allowed to do.
